WHAT WE BELIEVE

The New Testament Christian School is committed to historic Biblical orthodox faith as expressed in the historic church councils and creeds, such as the Apostles and Nicene Creeds. We welcome Christian families from all Protestant Christian denominations and traditions. TNTCS is primarily a child of the Reformation, with a strong emphasis on Biblical discipleship training as expressed by our Pilgrim forefathers. Our Statement of Faith is considered our primary doctrine, with deference given to parents concerning non-essential differences.

  • The message of the Word of God is an all-encompassing, seamless message that applies to every area of life.
  • The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
  • God created all things, by the power of His word alone, within six 24-hour solar days, and rested on the seventh day.
  • The Great Commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen (Matthew 28:19-20)
  • Scripture: The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally insured of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct, accepted by our school as the revealed will of God and the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice.
  • God: We believe that there is one and only one living and true God, infinite and eternal, maker of heaven and earth, holy, loving, just, righteous; and that in the unity of the Godhead there are three separate persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.

  • Deity of Jesus Christ: The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and the only hope and means of salvation for man.  The Scriptures declare His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary work on the cross, His miracles, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His exaltation to the right hand of God, and His coming again.

  • Man: We believe that man was created by God in the image of God, and by voluntary transgression fell from His sinless and happy state, in consequence of which all men are now sinners, and therefore, in need of the Savior, whom God sent to be the propitiation for the sins of the world.
  • Salvation: We believe that God has provided salvation from sin and eternal death, to righteousness and eternal life in the person of His Son Jesus Christ, Whose redemptive work on the cross provided salvation to all who believe and receive Him as their Savior.
